Our first dance practice of the season with 5 dances that focus on the basics! The bookends of the ball are The Gay Gordons and Strip the Willow, with Dashing White Sergeant as the second dance of the night. These are staples in the Scottish Country Dancing world, many a Scot having learned these back in their school days, making them a great introduction to Scottish dancing!
If Gavin's Reel of Seoul sounds unfamiliar it's because it is unique to the St. Andrew's Society of Seoul and has only just recently been adopted in other St. Andrew's Societies around the world. Eightsome Reel times at a whopping 8 minutes, making it the longest dance on the list!
